Accelerated Reader

Why is this program so powerful?
The Accelerated Reader program at Durham is a two part program which is accessed through an internet website called Renaissance Place.

Through Renaissance Place we are able to evaluate a student's accurate reading level through the STAR test.

Once a student's reading level is determined then the student is allowed to take AR tests over books that he/she has read within their reading range.

Each book/test has a predetermined amount of points that a student may earn upon successful completion of an AR test. Additionally students may earn dog tags as they reach certain point total milestones. We have almost 4000 quizzes in our quiz bank.
